Art Week Lisbon: I Almost Forgot It Was About Having Fun

In “I Almost Forgot That It Was About Having Fun,” I recreate the project space of duplexair by reproducing 475 tiles in textile and assembling them into a patchwork installation. Each tile carries traces of damage, shifts, and imperfections. It is an attempt to remember a space rather than to reproduce it. The mistakes, shifts, and gaps that emerge in the process become a metaphor for the flaws of human memory.
